Chingy put any remaining doubters to sleep back in May with the release of the critically acclaimed country rap single, “The Woah Down”, which is spreading like wildfire throughout the United States and causing pandemonium. Hailed as his most pop-oriented record since he made his recent comeback as an independent artist, the record is receiving widespread praise and taking the buzz surrounding the St. Louis, Missouri rap star to a new all time high. St. Louis hasn’t seen or heard another rapper like Chingy since he made his mark back in 2003 when he signed to hip hop star, Ludacris’ record label, Disturbing Tha Peace and released the multi-platinum, award-winning album, “Jackpot” and chart-topping singles like "Right Thurr" and "Holidae Inn". Over 20 million records later, several sold out international tours and several record label and publishing deals later, and Chingy is now an independent artist who has taken his music career into his own hands like many artists and bands are doing nowadays. He is still selling out shows like he used to even after a career set back a few years ago that saw him drop off the radar for a while. CHINGY ON TOUR WITH B2K

After making one of the most notable comebacks in hip hop for a few decades, and one of the biggest the millennials have probably experienced, St. Louis, US rap sensation, Chingy is back in full force and gigging at an all time high once again. This month he hit the road with the award-winning, critically acclaimed world renowned Californian R&B group, B2k who made their debut back in 1998, as they reunite for the first time in 15 years for their "Millennium Tour". They will be joined by R&B and hip hop icons Mario, The Ying Yang Twins, Omarion, Bobby V, Pretty Ricky and Lloyd. With venues in Florida, Mississippi, Alabama, Arkansas, Kentucky, Illinois, Michigan, Louisiana, Texas, California, Maryland, North Carolina, Georgia and New Jersey, just to name a few, the 25 date tour kicked off on the 8th of March, 2019 in Pittsburgh at the Petersen Events Center and will come to an end at the Gila River Arena in Arizona on the 25th of May. Music of the rap persuasion will never be the same without artists like him. Versatility, artistic integrity, humility, dedication, authenticity, loyalty to fans, diligence, persistence, charisma and allure are just some of the many reasons why the world fell in love with him, everyone had theirs, but above all it was his originality that made him and still makes him very unique and relevant in the music industry today. Many emulate but can never duplicate his nursery rhyme style flow. HARRU POTTER RETURNS

St. Louis, US rapper, Chingy, also known as Harru Potter amongst many other nicknames has just released his latest single. After a series of notable high profile music releases and live appearances over the past year alone including his most recent, "FYR" the single and "FYR" the EP, it is safe to say the Midwest rapper is finally making his long awaited comeback.

Chingy has overcome a lot of struggles over the past decade. As well as losing his record deal and the support of affiliated record labels and promoters within the music industry, he also lost his mom in 2017, but throughout his struggles he has remained true to himself and managed to stay focused. Though Chingy might have dropped off the radar in terms of music releases for a while, just releasing new songs, albums and mixtapes sporadically, he always made them count. He also never stopped gigging and has continued to pack arenas and concert halls just as he did when he was signed. Chingy's loyal fans stuck with him throughout and still do so up till today.

"Sparks Fly" is receiving rave reviews far and wide, and critics and fans alike are excited to see him coming back in such full force. 20 million plus records sold, several world tours, a major career set back that cost him a record deal, over 15 years since he made his debut and St. Louis, US rapper, Chingy is still selling out arenas.

Though he continued to release music sporadically after losing his deal, his latest record marked his official come back. His new single, "F.Y.R" was released back in October last year and was quickly followed by the official music video, and then the EP, "F.Y.R the EP". The new EP is a solid 4 track album that reminds hip hop fans what they have been missing and have been longing for for a very long time. Chingy still maintains his smooth, slick, versatile, nursery rhyme style and but continues to evolve progressively as an artist. He is still gigging very regularly and his loyal fans, who have stuck with him through out the lows of his career, as well as new fans always come out to show him love when he's in town. He recently brought his family out on stage at a recent concert and released this video.
