St. Louis rap star, Chingy released his latest single, “The Woah Down” on the 24th of April. The new song follows a series of progressively evolving records that are collectively painting a picture of how the Missouri, US sensation, who sold over 20 million records before going independent, has grown artistically over the years outside of the mainstream. It comes just over 5 months after his last single, “Yeah F*ckem” took the industry by surprise, putting him back on the radar of some of hip hop’s biggest ears as he makes what is being called one of the most significant hip hop comebacks for a very long time. The single features the critically acclaimed emerging pop duo, Meg & Tyler, and has been hailed as one of his most exciting pop-oriented records to date.
