Music industry update | New York, USA | Indie artist, Giftgable

New York underground hip hop sensation, Giftgable made his mark locally with his debut single, “Plankin”, which was so infectious and catchy it was featured on American Idol shortly after its release back in 2012. Hailed for its shear authenticity and originality, it was, and still is, such an exciting record to listen to that it still comes up in important discussions relating to the East Coast’s emerging hip hop scene. The track has single-handedly seen to it that its creator, Giftgable, founder and CEO of independent record label, Money Matters Entertainment has remained one of the highly rated and closely watched emerging hip hop artists in Brooklyn since.

Giftgable is known for his unashamedly and fearlessly honest lyrics, rugged sound and generally ruthless vibe. He is one of those artists that never follows trends or compromises in any way at all in order to gain mass appeal but he achieves exactly that every single time. After the success of his 2019 single, “Smith-N-Wesson” back in August, he has returned with a new song, “YKTV”. The new record was released on the 12th of May and is currently only available to stream on YouTube. He brought us the soundtrack to one of the most iconic memes of all time, Planking, and Brooklyn, New York's Giftgable continues to play his part in keeping the core values and very essence real hip hop music alive, leaving fans and critics lost for words with every new release. Also known as the Blu Pantha, Gift is being looked upon as the East Coast's next big international rap star and anyone who knows anything about his repertoire would second that. CODE BLU ALERT!

Now also known as the Blu Panther, Giftgable has secured a place on the list of top New York independent rappers to watch in 2018 with a his new and improved sound that is turning ears left, right and center. Having put his name on the mark earlier at the start of his career a few years back with the release of "Plankin" and other very distinctive, signature East Coast style hip hop tracks, Gift has stayed on the radar of his followers by only releasing tracks that surpass his very best at any given time. He has already released a good number of notable songs this year and is currently working on a new mixtape.

On the 24th of August he released his latest single, "Apes**t" which will be featured on the upcoming album.
