DOROTHY MILONE AT THE 2018 ESSENCE MUSIC FESTIVAL

Washington, US radio hosts and R&B group, Dorothy Milone have been blazing a trail on the mic as well as on stage since their very first official single and are well on their way to becoming the genre's next big group. For dedicated R&B music fans, nothing could be more entertaining than watching a multi-ethnic, multi-talented and focused upcoming band that knows how to really do what they do right. From their choice of songs to their choice of wardrobe, they are bringing back the essence of the R&B music fans fell in love with and will always remember. Matching outfits, mesmerising choreography, tender vocal tones and harmonies with good range, meaningful and creatively outstanding visuals everytime they release a new single and down to earth personalities - that are very much missed in the music industry today. And what's more, they keep fans updated with behind the scenes footage of their journey every step of the way.

Two members of the group attended the 2018 Essence Music Festival. The Essence Festival is an annual music festival which began in 1995 initially as a one-off music event to mark the 25th anniversary of the popular women's magazine but has now been running yearly ever since. This year's star-studded event was packed with performances by some of the world's top musical acts and entertainers and upcomers including Mary J. Blige, Doug E. Fresh, Ashanti, Mali Music, Big Freedia, Fantasia, Janet Jackson, Erykah Badu, Missy Elliott, Queen Latifah, Miguel, Ledisi, Snoop Dogg, The Roots, H.E.R, Jussie Smollett, Keke Wyatt, Damien Escobar, and Daniel Caesar, just to name a few. Dorothy Milone put on a show-stopping performance with R&B singer, TV Producer and host of BET's Flava Zone, Chris Bivins.
