Music industry update | New York, USA | Indie artist, Giftgable

New York underground hip hop sensation, Giftgable made his mark locally with his debut single, “Plankin”, which was so infectious and catchy it was featured on American Idol shortly after its release back in 2012. Hailed for its shear authenticity and originality, it was, and still is, such an exciting record to listen to that it still comes up in important discussions relating to the East Coast’s emerging hip hop scene. The track has single-handedly seen to it that its creator, Giftgable, founder and CEO of independent record label, Money Matters Entertainment has remained one of the highly rated and closely watched emerging hip hop artists in Brooklyn since.

Giftgable is known for his unashamedly and fearlessly honest lyrics, rugged sound and generally ruthless vibe. He is one of those artists that never follows trends or compromises in any way at all in order to gain mass appeal but he achieves exactly that every single time. After the success of his 2019 single, “Smith-N-Wesson” back in August, he has returned with a new song, “YKTV”. The new record was released on the 12th of May and is currently only available to stream on YouTube. Streaming and download links for Spotify, Apple Music, Google Play Music, Soundcloud and other popular digital music streaming and download services will be provided as they become available.
