Ahead of the release of their forthcoming album, "Golden Age Thinking", Washington, US independent folk quartet, Wylder has released their highly anticipated single, "Ghosts", the first taste of the album which is scheduled for release in June. The new single was released on the 3rd of May on iTunes, Spotify and all top digital music services, as well as Soundcloud and other free music promotion platforms for independent bands. It was quickly followed on the 4th of May by the official music video, which is available on YouTube and other popular video streaming platforms. "Golden Age Thinking" will be the band's second official album, following just over 3 years after "Rain And Laura", their first, which was released back in 2016. GOLDEN AGE THINKING

Hailed as "the Beatles of folk music", Washington, US quartet, Wylder, formerly known as Saving The Arcadian has become one of the most in-demand local acts to see live in their home region and they are taking their show on the road this Summer following the success of their dedicated Indiegogo campaign which raised over $7,000 dollars thanks to the support of their loyal fan base. WYLDER'S SUMMER 2019 TOUR

Boasting one of the most in-demand folk music sounds Washington, DC has to offer, both live and recorded, they've been hailed as "the best thing since Obama", "the most painfully satisfying band to listen to" and "one of the best folk bands this decade" by some of the world's toughest independent music critics. WYLDER'S FIRST WASHINGTON GIG OF 2019

It's the best news many have heard from Washington, DC in a long time and it looks like the release of folk band, Wylder's new single, "Ready to Break" couldn't have come at a better time.

Arriving over 6 months since the release of their 2018 album, "Live at White Star Sound" - a small 4 track EP that left a lot of ears watering, it has hungry fans, who can't get of that sweet, organic, infectious sound only the Washington quartet can deliver raving with excitement.

LIFE'S A BITCH, AND THEN…

… this happens.

Two whole years after New York based UK artist, Robert Leslie's last full album, the independent folk star has finally released his Summer, 2018 album, "Masks & Mirrors". The highly anticipated 10 track album was released for pre-order and pre-save on iTunes and Spotify today and will officially be available so stream and download freely on both platforms on the 31st of July.

Robert Leslie is one of those types of artists that only comes around once in a lifetime. His records are simple, often with very minimal instrumentation, really memorable melodies, and lyrics about the ups and downs of life told from a real life perspective. He's primarily a songwriter so he has a way with words many top artists today can only dream of. In a few words he'll paint a picture that will whisk you away into your thoughts, and with those same few words he has the power to bring a fully grown man to tears - but don't worry, crying is therapeutic.

Robert's records reek of hours of hard work - writing, re-writing, recording, re-recording, hours in deep thought, and lord knows what else. Meaningful songs are hard to come by. They take a lot of time to create and they are often born out of personal struggles, so unfortunately music fans looking for music with substance usually have to wait quite some time for them but when they finally arrive they come bearing gifts. Tonight we can all breathe a sigh of relief and rest assured that in a couple of days we'll be able to shed those tears that have been deeply embedded in our souls for at least two years. That's of course if listening to his last album once again (or for the first time) doesn't do it.

FINALLY, SOME GOOD NEWS FROM WASHINGTON

It's the world's most watched city and possibly one of the most famous but Washington, USA has had its ups and downs in recent times especially with the election of the new US president who has quickly become known for his unorthodox ways.

Luckily, Washington folk band, Wylder is always on their toes, making sure the iconic city never has a dull day. Having played at some of the region's top live music venues and concert halls regularly since their debut only a few years back when they were called Saving the Arcadian, they have brought joy to many who have had the pleasure of discovering them and they continue to bring reassurance to fans who like their favorite genres to retain their essence. With so many genres being merged with pop in one way or the other, Wylder is one of those bands that manages to appeal to many yet stay true to their original sound. Their first album after their name change, "Rain and Laura" was released back in 2016. The critically acclaimed 10 track album featured their new single, "Bitter" and "Sunstroke", one of their top records when they were still called Save the Arcadian. The album still ranks as one of the top independent folk releases from the region today. In February, they released another highly regarded record, "Live at White Star Sound", a short 4 song EP which was recorded live at White Star Sound, a private state-of-the-art recording facility located on a historic farm outside of Charlottesville, Virginia. Like all their previous works, it has received a lot of praise from critics, fans and industry insiders alike who all hail the band for their authenticity.

Wylder has just announced that they are back in the studio recording their next full album. There are no official release dates yet but we are expecting to hear more about the new project soon.
