Patreon has brought much
joy to musicians all over the world over the past couple of years as a supplementary source of income, but it has also brought a lot of
joy to music fans as well, as a way for musicians to reward their loyalty and their support. Canadian singer songwriter Crissi Cochrane has been using the American membership platform which provides business tools for content creators since around the advent of the 2020 Covid-19 pandemic; and the results have been outstanding. Fans have been treated to loads of goodies every step of the way – everything from
live streaming concerts and live performance videos to
exclusive music videos, exclusive songs and EPs and early access to new content. This week she announced yet another treat for her patrons - exclusive access to the live recording of a track titled “Midnight Wind” at a rehearsal back in 2020. The record was featured on her critically acclaimed February 2020 album “Heirloom”.
