Wylder has been hailed as the most exciting new independent folk music band Washington DC has ever seen. In their earlier days, the band, which was formerly known as Saving The Arcadian quickly made a name for themselves locally with their very distinctively blissful and haunting melodies, a characteristic of their sound that is still very much one of its top attractions today. The buzz surrounding the critically acclaimed quartet reached astronomical levels with the release of their latest album, “Golden Age Thinking” in the summer of 2019, and the band quickly got the attention big live music venues that were seeing to it that they played some of their biggest gigs to date before the global pandemic swooped in and put everything in the world on hold. As lockdowns around the US are tentatively being eased the band’s gigging schedule is quickly filling up again. On the 22nd of May, Will McCarry, the singer and guitarist credited as the driving force behind the ethereal aspects of band's sound made his debut as a solo artist while still remaining in the band with the release of the single, “Green Eyes”. “Green Eyes” is available to stream and download on Spotify, Google Play Music, Apple Music, Amazon and all popular digital music services, as well as Bandcamp and selected music promotion platforms for independent music.
