Originally scheduled for the 17th of July, 2020, the released of Crissi Cochrane’s forthcoming single, “Can We Go Back” has been postponed. In a recent blog post the critically acclaimed emerging Canadian soul music star explained that she didn’t want the song to be misunderstood or to send a message that undermines or conflicts with any of the causes being addressed by the ongoing “Black Lives Matter” movement, and she is even considering changing the lyrics. The track is now expected in stores sometime in September. In the meantime, Crissi is still gigging actively online as she has done since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic and the worldwide lockdowns that ensued back in March.
