Released back in 2014, “Colorscreen” was an excruciatingly exciting alternative rock record that brought much joy to rock fans. It was quickly followed by a good number of records that followed suit and reassured fans that rock music was still alive in its purest form. Written and performed by critically acclaimed St. Charles, Illinois singer songwriter, Jenny Franck, whose repertoire dates as far back as 2005 and who enjoyed a fairly successful independent music career before slowly dropping off the radar after the release of the 2015 compilation album, “Beautiful Lies”, the record spoke to female fans in a way no rock release has done in a very long time. In 2018, Jenny returned as a member of a new alternative rock trio called Elliot Waits For No One, with seasoned musicians Brian Troch and Jeff Tortora.
