Music industry update | New York, USA | Indie artist, Tamara Bubble

The new album by independent Brooklyn, New York rap star Tamara Bubble has come at a time when the music industry is in a very vulnerable place both creatively and fiscally. It is shaking every speaker and leaving every hip hop artist and music industry insider on the underground scene with something to think about. But what are they really thinking about after they listen to, what is being called “the final nail in the coffin

 of bubblegum rap"? Or are they just literally speechless? Well, the truth is no one may ever really know, since it is in fact impossible to know what anyone else is thinking unless they spill the beans, but the only thing that’s for sure judging from the general vibe that is going around is that the album will blaze a trail for female rappers - both mainstream and underground, that will be very hard to follow but crucial in the "redemption" of the genre. If your favorite female rapper chews a lot of gum and blinks really fast but can’t seem to do both at the same time without looking absolutely confused consider this album a wake up call that there may never be another “new” Nicki Minaj or the other one, what’s her butt, in the post-pandemic era of hip hop, and a lot less pink (phew! sorry Jay 😁).
