Carlos Battey, better known by his stage name, Jackie’s Boy has been very instrumental in shaping the new generation of R&B and pop music. Having worked with iconic music acts like Charlie Wilson (“I’m Blessed”), Chris Brown (“Graffiti”), Madonna (“Revolver”), and Justin Bieber (“Eenie Meenie”); and Shawn Stockman of the legendary R&B group, Boys II Men on his latest single, “Do It Again“, he is no stranger to the hard work and persistence it takes not just to make it in the music industry, but to thrive in it as well. He has worked hard behind the scenes throughout lockdown and stayed in touch with fans as much as possible via live streaming and features on popular online radio programs and podcasts. This week he featured on the popular “podcast for singers”, “Living A Vocal Life” where he talked about some of his current and past projects, and plans for the future.
