Hailing from Pennsylvania, USA, Born Ready made his mark on his local hip hop scene back in 2013 with the release of the critically acclaimed single, “Focused”, a single that still resonates very well with any and every discerning hip hop music fan with a no-nonsense attitude towards the genre, which sadly is flooded with a lot of, well, nonsense, nowadays. "Focused" was just one of many tracks from the rising Pittsburgh sensation's "Death Of A Dollar" album, which raised the bar for emerging rappers to a level that may never really be achievable again by anyone other than himself. In a relatively short space of time Born Ready was able to single-handedly build a repertoire of music that was and still is not just unique, but also excelled musically, artistically and on almost every front according to some of the toughest underground hip hop critics out there. In 2016, he released his most highly rated single, “Bendin Corners”. The music video of the song featured a cameo by Bad Boy Records artist, Yung Joc, famous for the single, “It’s Goin Down” and there were speculations about a collaboration in the works. He later followed with a compilation of some of his best works to date, titled “The Movie” before mysteriously dropping off the radar. There has recently been talks about new works in progress.
