INTRODUCING LIGHTNING SCAR BRANDEN

He writes and produces music under various aliases, and brings a broad variety of sounds, styles and concepts to the ever-changing genre that is hip hop; and Branden Hall, also known as Lightning Scar Branden, Thatts RVN, Slimy Boy Draco, L$B, Lover Boy Lightning, Lightning Hits and Lightning Slapz is a singer, rapper, songwriter and producer who is poised to go far in the business of music according to many fans and critics. Phew! looks like he is also the first hip hop artist to have more names than Diddy – aka Sean Love, Love, Sean Puffy Combs, Puff Daddy, Puffy, Sean John, Puff, P. Diddy, Sean Combs.. okay maybe not, but it was a close call though. 

L$B has been influenced by and often compared to popular musicians like J. Cole, Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, Kodak Black, Plies, Kid Cudi, Chance the Rapper, Tupac and the Notorious B.I.G. Proficient in the use of Logic Pro X, Pro Tools, Avid Media Composer and Adobe Premiere Pro, he single-handedly produces, records and mixes all his songs from start to finish and is able to deliver quite impressive results on a relatively limited budget. This week on the Music Discovery XO Auditions we had the opportunity to explore his music repertoire and find out some of his career goals and objectives. Voting is still open.
