Ontario, Canada’s Soul Music Co-Op was founded on the 1st of January, 2020 with an aim to foster the careers of some of the region’s finest singer songwriters. The initial roster consists of close music allies: the Bishop Boys, Madeline Doornaert, Dane Roberts, The Family Soul, Crissi Cochrane, and Soul Brother Mike - Crissi’s husband and the brains behind the new not-for-profit record label. On the 23rd of January they will be holding their very first event, “Songwriters' Circle” at the popular Phog Lounge in Ontario. All are welcome to be a part of what is expected to be an elegant night of great stories, and equisitely written and performed songs by the six artists that currently make up the Soul Music Co-Op.
