Tennessee, US underground rap star, Durt Boi is nothing like any other rap artist out there today. He has got a distinctive gangsta rap style and sound with a bounce so compelling it will almost literally grab your car keys put you in the driver's seat and take you to the nearest strip club. In terms of the theme of his music but not performance-wise, he is sometimes compared with the legendary Uncle Luke a.k.a Luke Skyywalker who was known for the explicit booty shaking videos and sexually explicit lyrical content, but Durt Boi still stands out in a category of his own in ways that are obvious and ways that are not so obvious. An ex-army service man, he made his debut back in 2012 with the release of "Why Chase Ya" before finding his sound and going on to make his mark with the release of "Pop, Drop and Roll" in 2013. From there it was all hits and his career has progressed almost exponentially every year since then. The release of his latest single, "Trippin" marked an all time high in his career and the buzz surrounding the new record is taking him all across Tennessee and the South. He has been interviewed by some of the top radio stations including Hot 107.1 and WTST The Blaze, and performed at several notable events and venues.
