On the 26th of February, California’s rapidly emerging country music sensation Christie Huff made yet another significant mark on the USA’s indie music scene that once again let fans know she’s next in line for the country music crown, and is in fact the best thing since
Taylor Swift (although a lot more exciting). “Blow Off Steam”, the new record was released following countless back-to-back
online gigs and appearances on popular podcasts and other online entertainment and media platforms, as has been the case for the Mesa, Arizona born Los Angeles star since lockdown started back in March 2020. It also followed just over a month after her first single of 2021, “I Don’t Know” which has been sky-rocketing up independent country music charts everywhere and popping up on Spotify and Apple Music playlists left, right and center since its release on the 4th of January.
