On the 1st of February, just over a month ago Mississippi, US underground rap sensation Drevo Coolidge celebrated his 32nd birthday. It's been just over 5 years since the release of the critically acclaimed record "Bermuda" put his name on the map as one of the top new independent hip hop artists to watch. The record was released by
Sony Music Entertainment. He later decided to continue on his initial career path as a fully independent artist without a record label, a decision that has allowed him to explore the full depths of his creativity and seen to it that he is now excelling both as a rapper and a hip hop singer. He marked his birthday with the release of yet another groundbreaking record that has, like every single record he has released over the past couple of years, got fans raving and critics lost for words. "Drevo Upload", the new 5 track EP was released on the 31st of January, just before his big day and is available to stream and download on Audiomack. Following the release of the record he featured on the new
underground hip hop podcast E14 and made several press appearances to promote the record online and offline. The 2 hour episode featured top records, freestyles and beats from exciting periods in the Bermuda-born Mississippi-raised hip hop star's illustrious music career spanning over 10 years, including "Pressed", "Lazy Anthem", "Faint Rose", "Rumors", "I Wonder", "Vinci" and "London", just to name a few.
