Mississippi underground hip hop champion, Drevo Coolidge has evolved progressively over the years so much so that fans and critics often forget that he is doing it and attribute every new sound and vocal performance style they hear to his versatility and immense talent. Coolidge recently hinted that his new singing style would be the new norm and that he was never going back to rap, but only time will tell since he spent so many years perfecting his rap style and building a solid fan base based predominantly on its excellence. The new style has been well-received and is seeing to it that he flourishes even more so than ever before as his career surpasses the all-time high many never thought was possible for a fully independent rap artist. On the 10th of August his highly anticipated single, “London”, a collaborative project with another exciting new Mississippi hip hop artist who goes by the name of 2Verse was released to critical acclaim. It features his old rap style. The song is available to stream and download on Apple Music and popular digital music services.
