After recently being confirmed as the brains behind the newly formed Canadian soul music collective that is shaking things up on Ontario’s local soul music scene and bringing joy to so many fans both locally and nationally; and also being confirmed as the producer of one of the most essential independent soul music releases from Canada this decade and possibly of all time, “Heirloom” by critically acclaimed singer songwriter and wife, Crissi Cochrane, it was hard not to start following and watching Soul Brother Mike’s music career closely. We uncovered a repertoire just as exciting and deeply refreshing as his wife’s, and a unique sound that is bound to bring much joy to many fans for many years to come. Soul Brother Mike’s latest single “Baby I Want A Change” was released on the 21st of March and is available to stream and download on Spotify, Apple Music and all popular digital music services, as well as selected independent music promotion platforms including Soundcloud, Traxsource, Bandcamp and Beatport.
