Music industry update | California, USA | Indie artist, Idrise
Hailed as one of the most authentic new R&B artists out of California in a very long time, Idrise has had an illustrious career as an independent musician since he made his debut with the release of “Fallin” back in 2012. He has since shared the stage with some of the biggest names in entertainment nationally and internationally, won MTV awards, and topped iTunes' and several European music charts. He suddenly dropped of the radar for a while in terms of music releases over the past year and fans where shocked to find out why when he was featured on NBC’s coverage of Homeboy Industries’ music healing program which is aimed at helping people who have been through or are going through difficult circumstances. Idrise later confirmed on social media that he has in fact been working with the Los Angeles based not-profit organisation for a while now and that he may have found his calling as an artist.
