Hailed as one of Johannesburg’s most exciting new electronic music producers, Paul Van Der Walt, better known as his stage name The Watermark High, moved to the US back in the summer of 2019 to relaunch his career internationally. The independent South African star, who is known for his deeply infectious, colourful, ever so soulful and complex timbres, harmonies, melodies and textures is now located in Boston, Massachusetts and has wasted no time making himself known on the highly competitive Western electronic music scene. His first US single, “Elsewhere” was released back in November 2019. He followed with “That's The Spirit” in February, and released his latest, “Ode To Winter” on the 20th of March. “Ode To Winter” is distributed by Distrokid and available to stream and download on Spotify, iTunes, Google Play Music, Amazon mp3, Tidal and all popular digital music services, as well as Bandcamp and selected independent music download, streaming and promotion platforms.
