Since she shot to independent synthpop superstardom with the release of the critically acclaimed single, “Hero” back in 2018, San Francisco’s Megan McDuffee, who got her start and made a name for herself in the music industry as a video game and film music composer, hasn’t gone a single month without releasing something new or having something exciting go viral. So of course it is possible that some fans could find it difficult or even impossible to juggle keeping up with her rapidly growing synthpop music catalog and keeping up with her also rapidly growing catalog of video game and film soundtracks – but not anymore. This week Megan unveiled a Spotify playlist that brings all her solo and collaborative synthpop projects together under one roof. The playlist is titled “Synth Siren”. So at least one half of the exciting problem is sorted now.
