Stoptober takes place every year in the month of October when die-hard smokers are challenged not to smoke all month, it's the worst month to step on anyone's toes and everyone is on the edge including non-smokers fearing for their lives as furious smokers struggle to put on a brave face and press on. Consequently, November 1 sees the most cigarette sales ever recorded every single year in many regions as desperate smokers who took the challenge storm their nearest stores for a pack as early as 00:01 GMT. DC went a step further this year and has been completely sober for 82 days. We don't know exactly what he quit but he is looking really good. He is still going strong and says the experience has opened up new doors and brought exciting new deals to the table.
If you're already familiar with DC's music then you'll already know that anticipating a sound even slightly better would be like asking a sugar daddy for another round, but it looks like that's what is about to happen and fans are holding on to their seats really tight.
