Back in the summer of 2019, when the sensational Washington, DC
folk band Wylder released what was hailed as their
best album to date, they were bombarded with a plethora of notable live performance dates, including playing at the region’s highly respected venue, Hamilton DC, where they left a lasting impression and cemented their name in the history books as the region’s most exciting new indie folk band to watch. It was their biggest gig to date at the time. Before long the pandemic came along and brought everything to a standstill, but a good band is hard to stop; and the Washington quartet has proven to be just as resilient as they are talented and made it through what the
music industry will go on to call one of the darkest times in its history. On the 31st of July, they headlined the venue once again and did it all over again. They left another lasting impression and it doesn’t seem like it would be the last time. Find more Wylder
