The
world’s live music landscape has been forced to change dramatically over the past year owing to the ongoing Covid-19 crisis; and musicians are adapting, some better than others - much like their fans. For those who do it well, and with a little bit of luck, it could be just as rewarding, if not more rewarding in some cases, as it was back when live music venues, clubs, bars, concert halls, theatres, community events and music festivals provided not just a steady stream of revenue for musicians and bands but also an avenue to connect with existing fans and new fans. One such musician who is adapting well is New York’s Christina Custode, who, prior to the pandemic thrived independently and played some of
the Big Apple’s most popular live music venues, concert halls and festivals. She has done well to make the transition to online gigs, and following a series of successful concerts with online concert streaming platform
