Music industry update | California, USA | Indie band, The Bilinda Butchers

It’s been just over six months since their critically acclaimed album, “Night And Blur” brought the world of dream pop to a standstill, and the magical San Francisco, US trio, The Bilinda Butchers are back with another release that is already showing signs of following in the footsteps of every single one of its predecessors since the band was formed back in 2011 and leaving fans and critics alike lost for words, and in a profound state of joy. They are one of those bands that comes along only once in a lifetime, and they remind fans of that very fact with every new release. A few days after they returned from their tour of Japan and East Asia back in 2018, one of the band members, Michal bizarrely announced that he was moving to New York and that the band was welcoming a new drummer. There wasn’t any mention of whether he would remain in the band but to many it seemed and felt like the beginning of the end of the original band line-up, which, according to many, could have only spelled disaster, or at the very best a watered down sound. They dropped off the radar for a little while. Amidst the inevitable state of panic and confusion that ensued they suddenly emerged once again with “Night And Blur” earlier this year. Pandemonium is the only word that could possibly even begin to describe the excitement that followed. Fans haven’t stopped raving about the 10 track masterpiece since and it seems like the only thing that will change that is their new album, which is out for pre-order and scheduled for release on the 4th of December. “BBZ Live From Home” features 6 tracks that were recorded during the first Coronavirus pandemic lockdown in May. It is available to pre-order on Bandcamp and all popular digital music services.
