They are one of the most authentic and most exciting new R&B groups to watch in Washington, DC, and emerging trio, Dorothy Milone does well to not just live up to the expectations of fans and critics but goes a step further and throws in a little surprise that defies expectations every now and again. It’s been just over 6 months since their single, “Christmas Gift” featuring Washington singer songwriter, Chris Bivins was released to critical acclaim, following suit with its predecessor, “Imagination”, which featured New Orleans female rap artist, Tokyo Vanity, who starred in the popular VH1 television series, "Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta". With a compact yet ever so essential repertoire, the group, who initially made their name as hosts of the popular Washington radio program, "The Dorothy Milone Show”, continues to evolve progressively with every new record and are doing well to keep the core values of R&B alive in their hometown.
