Music industry update | Tokyo, Japan | Indie artist, Yuko Yamamura
A graduate of the Osaka School of Music in Japan, Yuko Yamamura is a jazz and classical French hornist, composer and arranger with several years of experience. Starting her musical journey at the tender age of 7, she has studied with some of the best and consequently shared the stage with some of the most highly respected musicians in the business today including Jay Rodriguez, Victor Jones, David Berkman, Eddie Allen, Hector Martignon, Corcoran Holt, Gerard Angel and Sweet Plantain Strings Quartet. Though compact, her music repertoire is an invaluable contribution to contemporary jazz music, and last week, on the 26th of April, after over 5 years since her critically acclaimed album, “Dancing In The Dialog”, she returned to the spotlight with a brand new track titled “Joe Boat”. The record is currently only available to stream on YouTube but is expected on other streaming and download platforms shortly. [Listen below]
