Music industry update | New York, USA | Indie artist, Hannah Gill
It’s hard to go from performing in front of thousands of fans locally, nationally and internationally at arenas, concert halls and venues of all sizes to doing it from the comfort of a much smaller recording studio or residence but sadly many musicians are having to resort to doing exactly that to keep their careers alive, to keep fans happy, and altimately, to keep music alive during these unfortunate times. After recently returning from a European tour with New York jazz music collective, Postmodern jukebox, New York singer songwriter, Hannah Gill quickly announced a new batch of local concerts in and around the East Coast of the US. Sadly, only a few weeks later she was forced to cancel due to Coronavirus restrictions which are now in place in various US states and around the globe, as well as for the safety of fans. She is now looking to start performing live online, and has announced that her first online gig will be streaming live on Instagram and YouTube on the 28th of March at 5 PM Eastern Time. Tickets and event information are available on the Skunk Radio Live Events page.
