GLOBAL WARNING

Influenced by musical acts like Talking Heads, Iggy Pop and Bob Marley, The Papers are an exceptional band that originated from London, UK back in 1981. Now based in Exeter, they have stood and continue to stand the test of time, and with their experience they are able to evolve with the industry's changing sounds and remain as relevant today as they where when they made their debut.

A little bit of rock, a little bit of reggae, a little bit of pop, a whole lot of fun and a message is what you can expect whether you are listening to one of their records or seeing them live in concert. In 2017 they released their latest project, "Paintbox", a 16 track album packed with classic records that received widespread praise including the critically acclaimed single, "Global Warning", which has become one of their most highly rated and most talked about new records today. This week on the Skunk Radio Live Auditions, we had the pleasure of exploring the new album. Voting is still open.
