SATURDAY NIGHT IN HUNGDAE

South Korea has never had a band that has done them so proud, at least so it seems - and every chance they get, they are right there to support them and cheer them along, whether the band is playing in their homeland or overseas. Love X Stereo is an independent band like no other. Independently, they've managed to achieve what many bands with big backers and funding struggle to achieve - a cult following. Right from their very debut, "Buzzin" back in 2011, till today, they have maintained a consistent sound and still remain unique even with all the advancements in music technology that have happened since then. Lead singer, Annie's voice continues to blossom day after day, becoming more angelic yet stronger, and more and more pleasing to the ear as time goes by. Toby, the band's producer and engineer also shows improvement with every new release, as the band's sound gets more and more simple to digest yet complex in ways the untrained ear can't even begin to understand.

Just seven years after their debut they have already been at some of the world's most popular festivals and received awards nationally. The band has been putting their new found fame to good use by bring attention to the ever-growing problem of cruelty to animals in Korea. Proceeds from their latest single, "Slipping Away" which was released this month are being donated to charities working hard to shut down dog meat farms in Korea and all fans are invited to support the cause by downloading the new song, dog lovers especially.

Tonight in Hongdae, in Seoul, South Korea where they are from, they'll be playing what's expected to be a big concert at the popular Convent-Live Pub (formerly known as Club Freebird).
