MAUD THE MAUD LIVE IN MADRID

If there's one thing Maud the Moth knows how to do, it's how to get her fans' full attention - whether it's by lyrics that make them think, haunting imagery, her wardrobe or other visuals. She's been hailed one of the UK's most bizzare independent music acts (in a good way) and she's also one of the most unique artists the region has seen in a very long time, setting herself apart with a distinctive blend of folk, singer songwriter, classical and pop that you won't find anywhere else. Originally from Madrid, Spain, Maud is one of those singers that is able to captivate an entire audience and have them at her mercy with nothing but her commanding voice and a piano. Her music also draws from a wide range of musical styles including jazz, classical, avant garde and soul.

Starting out in 2010 as a solo artist, she has been in several projects but always maintains the same deeply captivating and soulful sound. In April, 2017 she released her latest project, "Live at the Reid Hall", a live music album performed at the Reid Concert Hall in Edinburgh, Scotland. She recently announced that she'll be heading back home to Madrid on the 13th of June, 2018 for a special gig at the popular live music venue, Cafe Berlin.
