These are particularly hard times for musicians all around the world. Being forced to isolate, and in essence do the opposite of what their careers are all about – bringing people together, could be very difficult and frustrating, more so for some than others. But like many professionals in other works of life, many are using the time to really focus on their craft, explore the depths of their abilities, do good for others, and work on new projects. This week, London, UK singer songwriter, Saachi Sen entered the Go Out Of Tune “Home Work” Challenge, a UK songwriting competition in partnership with St John’s Hoxton, which gives participating songwriters 40 days to write a record for a good cause and the opportunity to of course win loads of great studio gear, studio time, music industry exposure, radio airtime on a popular UK radio station and more. Her latest single, “Flaunt” was released on the 17th of April.
