Christie Huff's latest release, "Black And White" officially recorded 1,000,000 Spotify streams this week. After receiving the favor of several of the streaming service's playlist curators, as well as with the support of existing fans, not to mention her extensive gigging schedule which has done well to get the record heard at almost every self-respecting Los Angeles concert hall, live music venue and festival even remotely close to the region, the single has gone viral just over 3 months after its release back in March. Making her debut back in 2012 with the release of "Soldier Song" at the age of 18, she was predicted to become a force to reckon with in country music, and after 7 years of hard work and determination it is safe to say she has done exactly that, completely independently and is on her way to becoming one of the next big international country pop stars. Many called her the next Taylor Swift when she first emerged, but now some are saying she could be much bigger. Much bigger than Swift? Is that even possible? Well, only time could tell.
Christie's next performance is scheduled for Sunday, the 23rd of June with the popular Hotel Nashville collective at City Winery in Nashville, Tennessee, USA. Tickets, venue information and full details are available on the Skunk Radio Live Events page.
